As part of the PBL group task, pupils were challenged to design a pavilion. The Serpentine Galleries commission an architect each year to design an innovative pavilion and the pupils were invited to submit their ideas. They were asked to use the theme of ‘microbes’ as a creative stimulus and produce a presentation including 2D and 3D design work. All of the pupils involved, ranging from Year 7 to Year 9, worked very hard and independently developed their problem solving skills on this challenging task.
