Small class sizes, tailored teaching, passionate staff, flexible choices – this is Bethany’s winning combination to help our Sixth Formers achieve the best grades they can.
We want pupils to be the best they can be, and we encourage both academic excellence and personal improvement and progress. The first thing we do when pupils join our Sixth Form is get an understanding of their passions and how they learn. Then we adapt our teaching approach to suit and guide, support and challenge pupils to make sure they reach their full potential. More than anything, whatever the predicted grades are when pupils arrive, our aim is to help surpass them.
We take time to get to know each pupil, their passions and how they learn best, so we can guide and challenge them to achieve their full potential. Our pupils make exceptional progress at A Level thanks to our child-centred philosophy that continues into the Sixth Form. 96% of our leavers will go on to university with the vast majority enrolling in their first choice. We are also ranked in the top 0.5% for A level progression nationally.
When you have discovered your passion, don’t hold back. At Bethany, we offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) as an optional extra, giving you the opportunity to seek guidance on and explore your interests to new depths, getting UCAS points in the process.
At Bethany we want to open doors, not close them. With 26 subjects across a range of disciplines, at Bethany you can choose the subjects you enjoy.

We are thrilled that our high-achieving pupils continue to secure places at their preferred universities. This is a reflection of our focus on highlighting the importance of developing essential learning habits. This approach not only prepares pupils for success at A level but enables them to become effective lifelong learners, no matter what the future holds.
