Results & Destinations

At Bethany School we are justifiably proud of the results achieved by our pupils year on year. We applaud the achievements of our dedicated teachers and committed pupils.

Bethany School prides itself on providing excellent preparation for A level examinations and university entry. The individual support and guidance given to each pupil has ensured a significant number of unconditional offers at prestigious universities. Whilst some in the national press have raised concerns about the increasing number of unconditional offers, at Bethany School we believe that this has been an excellent development. It firmly reinforces Bethany’s ethos of placing the child’s wellbeing first.

At Bethany School we take pride in offering an extensive range of courses at A level, enabling all our pupils to choose subjects which they enjoy and play to their individual strengths.

The recent upward trend of pupils achieving A* and A grades continues at Bethany and we are thrilled that our high-achieving pupils continue to secure places at their preferred universities. This is a reflection of our focus on the Virtue of Learning which highlights the importance of developing essential learning habits. This approach not only prepares pupils for success at A level but enables them to become effective lifelong learners, no matter what the future holds.

“At Bethany, I was able to choose my A levels based on the subjects that I enjoyed and was good at. The sense of being part of a team was essential, as was the help that the teachers gave me when I needed it. I enjoyed a wide range of sports, including netball and hockey, and I played the flute in the Orchestra. I’m now pursuing an integrated Master’s degree in Chemistry with a Year in Industry at the University of Hull.”
