Year 11 Music pupils put on quite the show on Wednesday 23rd March as they performed in their very own concert called The Subversion.
The concert, as part of the Year 11 exam, was completely organised by the pupils themselves. From the initial creation, to the marketing of the concert and even setting up the sound and lighting. The evening really was an example of Bethany School talent and hard work at its best!
Excellent covers of a variety of massive hits including Sam Fender’s ‘Supersonic Missile’ and AC/DC’s ‘Back in Black’ in front of a packed audience really did showcase pupils wonderful musical and vocal abilities. Pupils also decided that all proceeds from tickets and refreshments would be donated to Dementia UK.
A huge congratulations to all involved, both those who performed and those who also helped to create such a wonderful evening of entertainment. Special thanks also goes to Miss Baker and Miss Bullock for their assistance and also to Friends of Bethany School (FOBS) for providing interval refreshments.
