Michael Roshier, a former Bethany School pupil, has kindly written to give us an update on his career journey post-Bethany and how he’s been given the opportunity to work with Mercedes AMG.

“I am currently doing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham and this morning I got an offer, which I have taken, for a placement next academic year at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains. This is the company that produces the Formula 1 engines for Mercedes, Aston Martin, Williams and McLaren F1 teams.

I wanted to share this with you as without the support I have received, I would not be where I am now, being able to accept a placement in a sport that I love at one of my dream companies. So, I just wanted to say thank you for the support that was provided whilst at Bethany!”
