Annual Boarders’ Barbecue at The Headmaster’s residence

The Headmaster was delighted to host the annual Boarders’ Barbecue last night in the garden of The Firs where he lives. 

Everyone tucked-in to a scrumptious barbecue, enjoyed relaxing with each other in the evening sun and playing a few light-hearted garden games.  The evening ended in the usual way with Magnum ice-creams being enjoyed by all!

Mr Healy thanked all the staff who helped make the evening happen.  Special thanks and best wishes went to Karen Holland (pictured centre below), the Catering Manager, who leaves Bethany to re-locate to Norfolk following many years of outstanding service.

The atmosphere was entirely pleasant and it was simply wonderful to see our boarding community come together on such a beautiful evening, simply enjoying each other’s company.
