Honor, in Year 9, took part in her second East Sussex Sunday Cross Country race at Wadhurst last weekend.

Honor is a member of the Hastings Athletics Club and competes in cross country races in the winter and track in the summer.

On Sunday, there were 20 runners negotiating the hilly 2.2 mile course which was extremely muddy. All of Honor’s training paid off as she stormed home to finish first in the U15 girls category. Her finishing time was 18.09min.
