A huge congratulations to Juniper, Year 9, who recently represented West Kent SFA at the 2026 Barcelona Girls Cup in Spain.

Juniper had the opportunity to compete against some of the most talented young footballers from across Europe. The tournament, held in the beautiful Salou and Cambrils region south of Barcelona, brought together around 80 teams from 10 different countries, creating an unforgettable international football experience.

Among the many highlights of the competition, Juniper was delighted to score against a strong Irish side, Maree Oranmore FC — a fantastic achievement on such a big stage.

The Barcelona Girls Cup provided a wonderful opportunity for Juniper to challenge herself, represent her region and continue developing as a player. Her performance reflects the dedication, ambition and talent that Bethany’s Football Excellence Pathway aims to nurture.
