On 25th and 26th June, Bethany School’s Junior Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat delighted audiences over two sold-out evenings, showcasing the talent of more than 35 pupils from Years 7–9.

Year 9 pupil Raff delivered a confident and charismatic performance in the title role of Joseph, leading the cast with warmth, energy and impressive stage presence. Year 8 pupils Gen and Lily were outstanding as the Narrators, captivating audiences with their exceptional vocals, storytelling and enthusiasm throughout the production.

The stage was transformed into a spectacular blaze of colour thanks to the artistic direction of Mr Ramsden, providing a vibrant setting for this much-loved musical. Under the musical direction of Mr Harley, the cast gave fantastic vocal performances, while Mrs Williams skilfully led the live band, bringing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic score to life with energy and precision.

The production was a true celebration of teamwork, with the cast, musicians, backstage crew and staff working together to create two memorable evenings of entertainment. Their dedication, creativity and hard work were evident in every aspect of the performance, earning enthusiastic applause from audiences across both nights.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this outstanding production. It was a wonderful showcase of the creativity, confidence and commitment of Bethany’s pupils, and a fitting finale to another successful year of Junior Drama.
