“I’m really happy with how I did, there’s no way I would’ve gotten into my first-choice university without the care and support of my teachers.”

Bethany School pupils have once again pulled out all the stops and achieved highly in this Olympian year, with 36% of grades being awarded at A* and A grade level which is well above the national average. Grade boundaries were realigned with pre-Covid standards and our pupils enthusiastically embraced this challenge. They worked diligently and they were guided superbly well by our wonderfully committed staff, with many pupils achieving grades beyond their and their parents’ expectations. The most proven route to success is through hard work and perseverance, which our pupils demonstrated in abundance.
University bound pupils have been accepted into a wide range of destinations such as University of Durham, Loughborough, Exeter, Leicester, Falmouth and Warwick to take up courses ranging from economics and finance to fashion marketing, mechanical engineering, creative and performing arts, reflecting the diverse Sixth Form curriculum provided.
Headmaster, Francie Healy, commented; “Every year I continue to be hugely impressed with the standards our mixed ability cohort of A Level pupils achieve. Each pupil has an individual success story to share which feels all the more poignant to me as I know them so well. Happiness and success can go hand in hand and Bethany’s educational provision and outcomes are proof of this. This would not have been possible without the pivotal role played by the staff who always go the extra mile to help each pupil fulfil their potential. I wish the pupils well as they embrace the next stage of their lives, be that in university or in the commercial world”.
Pupils and parents alike commented on their time at Bethany School and what the future holds for them.
