Bethany is a thriving independent boarding and day school for 350 children aged 11-18 and is enjoying an ever-growing reputation for the quality of its teaching and the excellent pastoral care on offer. It is recognised internationally for its success in the education of dyslexic pupils and also has a strong performing arts faculty. Within its beautiful setting in 60 acres of beautiful Kent countryside, the school brings together a strong sense of tradition and a culture of innovation, underpinned by a warm, caring and inclusive community spirit.

The Governors seek an outstanding Head with the vision, warmth and energy to take the school forward into the next stage of development, following on from the ‘Bethany 2026’ vision. The successful candidate will be an inspirational, inclusive and experienced senior educationalist with a proven track record of success, excellence in all leadership skills, a commitment to co-education, business awareness, and a true appreciation of the myriad of opportunities offered by life in a boarding school community based on strong Christian values.
